Designs
During the custom home building process, the design phase is one of the most exciting and crucial stages. This is where your vision for your dream home starts to come to life on paper before construction begins. Here's an overview of what you can expect during the design phase with ProCor.

Initial Consultation
The process typically begins with an initial consultation where you discuss your ideas, requirements, and preferences with the design team. This is an opportunity for you to share your vision, discuss your lifestyle needs, and any specific features you want in your home.
Conceptual Design
The design team will then work on creating conceptual design plans based on your input. This phase may include floor plan options, rough sketches, and basic layouts to help you visualize the overall look and feel of your future home.

Design Development
Once the initial concepts are approved, the design team will further develop the plans, including detailed floor plans, and elevation drawings. This stage allows you to see more refined details of the design and make any necessary adjustments.
Material Selection
As part of the design process, you will also have the opportunity to select materials, finishes, fixtures, and other design elements that will be incorporated into your home. This includes everything from flooring and countertops to lighting and cabinetry.
Permit & Approval
The final design plans will need to go through permitting and approval processes to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Your custom home builder will handle this aspect to ensure that everything is in order before construction begins.
Finalize Plans
Once all necessary approvals are obtained, the design plans will be finalized, and a construction timeline will be established. Any last-minute modifications or changes should be made before moving forward to the construction phase.

Throughout the design phase, communication with your custom home builder is key. They should keep you informed of progress, involve you in decision-making, and address any concerns or questions you may have. This collaborative approach ensures that the final design aligns with your vision and expectations for your custom-built home.

Construction
When transitioning from the design phase to the construction phase with ProCor, there are several key steps and considerations to keep in mind. Here’s an overview of what you can expect during the construction phase:

Pre-Construction Planning: Before breaking ground, your custom home builder will conduct a pre-construction meeting to review the final design plans, establish a timeline, discuss any site-specific requirements, and address any pre-construction tasks that need to be completed.
Site Preparation: The construction process begins with site preparation, which may involve clearing the land, grading the site, and preparing the foundation. This phase sets the stage for the actual building process to begin.
Foundation Construction: The foundation is a critical component of your home's structure. Depending on the design and local regulations, the foundation may be a slab, crawl space, or basement. ProCor will ensure that the foundation is built to code and meets structural requirements.
Frame and Structural Work: Once the foundation is in place, the framing of the home will begin. This includes erecting the structural framework, walls, roof, and other essential components that form the skeleton of the house.
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Installation: After the framing is complete, the focus shifts to installing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This includes HVAC ductwork, electrical wiring, plumbing pipes, and other essential systems that will bring your home to life.
Insulation and Drywall: Insulation is installed to regulate temperature and energy efficiency, followed by drywall installation to create interior walls and ceilings. This phase prepares the home for interior finishes.
Interior Finishes: This stage involves adding interior finishes such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, paint, and fixtures. ProCor will work closely with you to ensure that the finishes align with your design preferences and meet quality standards.
Exterior Finishes: The exterior finishes, including siding, roofing, windows, doors, and landscaping, are added to enhance curb appeal and protect your home from the elements.
Final Inspections and Walkthrough: Before handing over the keys, ProCor will conduct final inspections to ensure that everything meets building codes and quality standards. A final walkthrough will also be scheduled to address any remaining details or concerns.
Home Completion and Handover: Upon successful completion of the construction phase, ProCor will hand over the keys to your custom-built home. They will provide guidance on home maintenance, warranties, and any post-construction services.
Throughout the construction phase, effective communication with your custom home builder is crucial. ProCor prides itself on transparency, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that your custom home construction experience is seamless and fulfilling.
